1) Panel Discussion: Moving Forward to the Next Generation
Panel Members:Lisa Avila Kitware
Theresa-Marie Rhyne North Carolina State University
Matthew Ward Worcester Polytechnic Institute
Abstract: It is inherent in any assessment of re-factoring visualization to end with a discussion of the lessons for the next generation of visualization toolkits and applications. This panel will therefore give both panelists and attendees an opportunity to discuss what they see as the crucial factors in the future of visualization applications.
